A compression spring, stretched by stressing chain and guiding chain, causes a guide-post to revert automatically to its upright position. This device, sited in the lower part, effects re-erection regardless of the direction of impact or being run over. The lower third of the first chain passes through a guideway and is secured to a pyramidal profile plate welded on the base plate. The second chain is connected to it at the centre, passes in an inclined line through a guideway in the tilting plate and is secured to the front part of the base plate, preventing the part from twisting about its longitudinal axis. |
