<p>The prefabricated wall, floor and ceiling elements are made up of a layer of solid concrete which contains a metallic reinforcement framework, a layer of concrete containing cavities and a layer of plaster or cement which may carry a decorative covering. The upper edge of a wall element contains reinforcing rods and strips which extend the full thickness of the solid concrete layer. Floor and ceiling elements may contain a second tier of reinforcement around the periphery. Metallic hooks cast into the edges of the elements interlock in the construction of a complete building.</p> |
