Chemisorption and deodorisation filter - has easily changed packets of expanded and impregnated aluminosilicate in plastics sheath

Chemisorption and deodorisation filter consists of individual chemisorption packets, which pref. can be changed easily, are placed in a filter housing, are tubular and have air-permeable mats bounding the upstream and downstream sides. They pref. have a plastics sheath and are filled with expanded aluminosilicate, which is impregnated and surrounded by chemical substances which eliminate odour and ad- and absorb harmful materials. Used for eliminating odours and toxic gases from fish frying, butcheries and PVC welding plant. Pref. the filling consists of expanded Ca aluminosilicate impregnated with NaOH soln., and/or mono- or polybasic carboxylic acids and surrounded by chemisorption compsns., e.g. Ca(OH)2.
