PURPOSE:To avoid an excessive movement of a record pen and obtain a linear and high-quality record, by using a cylindrical recording paper that turns in a body with an arrow feather type wind direction meter plus a record pen that moves in an equal speed toward the rotary shaft of the said record paper. CONSTITUTION:The rotary shaft 2 and the cylinder 5 of an arrow feather type wind direction meter are unified in a wind direction recorder 3. The record paper 6 is attached to the cylinder via the metal fittings 7 and 7'. The record pen driver 9 having a spiral groove 14 turns by a battery 12 and record pen driving mechanism 11, and thus the record pen 10 moves in the vertical direction and along the pen guide 8. Thus the pen 10 never moves discontinuously by the direction to prevent an excessive movement of the pen. Furthermore the period of observation can be selected easily since the pen moves in the direction of the time axis, and the record line is not arc but linear. |
