PURPOSE:To urge the user to disassemble and clean his clock, by displaying a warning when the load level of the clock including dirt of the wheel row and so on exceeds a prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:At the normal hand advance time, step motor SM is driven at every 1 second by the output of conversion mechanism driving circuit 4. At the calendar display time, the clock load is increased and becomes a heavy-load; and when terminal (b) of load level detecting circuit 6 becomes 1, driving waveform shaping circuit 3 outputs a pulse of the width as twice as wide as the normal pulse to increase driving force of step motor SM. If the heavy-load state continues due to dirt of the wheel row and so on of the clock, output Q of counting circuit 7 which counts the duration becomes 1 to set RS.FF9, and terminal C of driving waveform shaping circuit 3 is set to 1. As a result, driving waveform shaping circuit 3 outputs two pulses at every two seconds to drive step motor SM for two seconds at every two seconds. |
