PURPOSE:To provide a useful printing plate for illumination sign board, etc. by keeping transparent synthetic resin in a molten state after forming it in a plate shape, adhering transparent synthetic resin film with a printed pattern on the surface in a laminar fashion and providing vividly impressive patterns realized by a gravure printing method to the platelike material. CONSTITUTION:Transparent thermoplastic material (e.g. polymethylmethacrylate resin, etc.) is extruded in a plate form by means of an extrusion molding machine. Thus a molten extruded plate 2 is ready. Then transparent thermoplastic material film (e.g. polymethylmethacrylate resin film, etc.) with a printed pattern 4 provided on the surface is overlaid on extruded transparent plastic plate 2 which is in a molten state in such manner that the printed face of said plastic film is turned outward. Then they are adhered together in a laminar fashion to obtain an intended printed plastic plate 1. Gravure printing or offset printing is preferred. |
