PURPOSE:To provide the captioned device to omit a diode for prevention of a reverse current on a recording signal side where switching elements are connected in series to leads respectively on the recording signal side of a thermosensitive recording head and a plural number of these elements are concurrently controlled. CONSTITUTION:A recording signal is input to a serial-in, parallel-out shift register element 28 capable of plural bits. At the same time, leads on the recording signal side are animated at an output signal obtained as a result of the aforementioned input. Concurrently, each group of block-side leads are sequentially switched and animated to be followed by the procedures to sequentially heat heating elements. As a result, a record is made in a thermosensitive paper. In this case, switching elements 30 are connected in series to individual recording-side leads. In addition, a plural number of switching elements 30 are simultaneously controlled at each output signal of the serial-in, parallel-out shift register element 28. Thus it is possible to simplify a recording signal-side drive circuit and reduce electric consumption. |
