PURPOSE:To enable an accurate positioning to automatically be performed in a simple construction by a method wherein a pin program unit fitted on the table is rotated to make a moving member of the table to be contacted to one of the program pins in sequence for positioning. CONSTITUTION:The pin program controlling and positioning table device 1 has a table 2, which is supported movably in directions of arrows A, B. The pin program unit 29 is detachably fitted at the right end of a program shaft 19 and 20 program pins 30 in different lengths are tightened to the unit 29 at equal intervals on the same circumference. Then, the pins 30 are exactly contacted with sleeves 6 of the table 2 under a constant pressure and a piece to be worked on the table 2 is automatically positioned in the form that the coordinates of the first work portion of the piece in the directions of A, B are correctly agreed with the center of a tool. |
