PURPOSE:A thermoplastic polymer composition with improved heat sealing property, oil resistance, etc., which is prepared by compounding a specified modified block copolymer with an ionomer. CONSTITUTION:A modified block copolymer (B) is prepared by the addition of about 1-50, per molecule of the copolymer hereinafter described, by unsaturated dicarboxylic acid (deriv.) with a block copolymer (pref. a styrene-butadiene block copolymer) contg. at least one polymer block primarily composed of a vinyl arom. cpd. and at least one polymer block primarily composed of a conjugated diene cpd. Then (A) 1-99pts. ionomer (e.g., Surlyn, a product of E.I. du PONT, or Copolen, a product of Asahi Dow) are compounded with (B) 99-1pts. said copolymer. |
