<p>The additional heat-exchanger is for an air-to-water heat pump, being mounted in the coolant pipe of such a pump, in addition to the air heat-exchanger. The design allows heat to be supplied to the pump from a source other than the ambient air, e.g. from a solar heat collector. A magnetic valve is inserted in the coolant pipe, which interrupts the cold flow through the air heat-exchanger. The automatic controlled magnetic valve is set to let the air temp. coincide with the liquid temp. of an incorporated solar heat collector, ensuring an optimum heat source supply to the air-to-water heat pump.</p> |
