Sharma Peanuts are dry blanched by a process of treating the raw peanuts with a blast of heated air for a short duration, followed by rapid cooling and mechanical removal of the peanut skins. The heated air is typically about 150.degree.C and the treatment takes 45 seconds to 2 minutes.
