PURPOSE:To prevent the danger that naked eyes are irradiated with laser light generated when a plug is inserted or extracted, by providing a shielding member which opens or closes mechanically according to the insertion or extraction of the plug and moves nearly at right angles to the insertion direction of the plug. CONSTITUTION:In cavity part 25, projection member 4 projecting into a guide part with slanting surface 41 is equipped, and pin 6 is implanted in cavity 26 and engaged with the end part of lever member 5 to slant freely between surfaces of cavities 26 and 26'. With the intermediate part of lever member 5, pin 7 implanted in the main part of projection member 4 is engaged and as projection member 4 moves, lever member 5 slants. Into lower guide groove 27 of main body 21, shielding member 8 is inserted while it is movable in the groove direction, and pin 82 implanted in intermediate end-part notch part 81 is hooked in the hole of projection end 51 of lever member 5, so that as lever member 5 slants along guide groove 27, shielding member 8 will move. |
