OPTICAL TRANSMITTER OF MULTIPLEX SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To realize a data transmission for a number of channels, by converting the photosignal transmitted into an electric signal, giving a display of light emission to the electric signal at the position corresponding to the channel number on the luminescent screen of a cathode-ray tube and receiving the signal via an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The electric signals of channels are compounded at the transmission side 1 and turned into an optical digital signal through the electric-phtosignal converter 6 to be transmitted to the reception side 2 through the optical fiber 7. The digital signal is converted into the electric signal at the side 2 and through the optical-electric signal converter 8. Thus the signal data is supplied to the control grid 18 of the cathode-ray tube 12; and the channel number signal is supplied to the horizontal/vertical control circuit 11. The electron current corresponding to the digital signal is irradiated partially at the corresponding channel luminescent part for emission of light. The optical fibers 15 in the number corresponding to the necessary channel numbers are fused on the luminescent screen 14 of the tube 12. The optical digital signal is transmitted to the fiber 15 for corresponding channel and converted into the electric signal through the optical-electric signal converter 21.
