PURPOSE:A heat insulating material suitable for a pillow, heat-insulating store, etc., reducing its temperature only by blending ingredients in using, gelatinizing without curing, and providing a good feeling in use, comprising plural kinds of specific chemicals and water which are stored separately. CONSTITUTION:(a) A blend of (a1) ammonium nitrate and (a2) nonionic, or anionic, or cationic water-soluble flocculating agent, (b) sadium thiosulfate, and (c) water are put in the individual storing chambers A, B, and C separately. In using, the individual storing chambers A, B, and C are communicated to one another by releasing the temporary parting plates 2 and 2, or other methods, so that the in gredients a-c are blended. The whole materials become immediately gelatinous state, and become low temperature by the chemical reactions. For reuse, the heat insulating material is cooled by a refrigerator, etc. Amounts of the individual ingredients of a1, a2, b, and c are preferably 25-50wt%, 2-6wt%, 15-45wt%, and 15-35wt% respectively. |
