The pusher having a rectangular blade (11) is used for transporting packaged goods (13), such as harasse, cardboard boxes and crates. When pulling out the blade after the goods have been shifted there is the problem in this case of the stacked goods being displaced and then falling off. This can cause accidents and lead to loss of time due to reloading. The pusher avoids these disadvantages by a push plate (7) which slides on the blade (11) by means of a linkage and is moved by pressing a foot rest down. In its forward position, the plate can be raised while simultaneously raising the stacked goods, which results in it being possible to pull out the blade. <IMAGE>
