PURPOSE:To enable even an unfamiliar person to know the value of present used electric power, by operating display element whose number is in proportion to the used electric power by using an N-scale decade counter, R-S.FF, latch circuit, etc. CONSTITUTION:Pulses of a frequency proportional to used electric power are counted by N-scale decade counter 8 at intervals of constant time; when the count value reaches one, a high-level signal is output from output terminal 1 and then high- level signals are successively outputted from output terminals 2-N-1 corresponding to the count value to set R-S.FFs FF1-FFn-1 successively, increasing or decreasing the number of R-S.FFs FF1-FFn-1 set according to the value of the used power. Set outputs and reset outputs of R-S.FFs are applied to latch circuits LT1-LTn-1 and when rewrite signal P4 is applied to their input terminals CL, only circuits receiving the set outputs high-level signals to operate display elements DS1-DSn-1. The value of the use power easily from such constitution above mentioned. |
