PURPOSE:To obtain a high performance toner showing a high fixing speed even under low pressure and consuming less energy by adding a 26-50C straight chain wax component having specified melting enthalpy. CONSTITUTION:To a pressure fixing composition is added about 10-80wt% 26-50C straight chain paraffin, amide wax or the like having >=10cal/g melting enthalpy at 60-105 deg.C, and a toner is manufactured using this composition contg. a coloring material such as pigment or dye, magnetic powder, etc. by <=70wt%. This toner can be fixed at a high fixing speed under a pressure corresponding to 1/3-1/5 of a conventional pressure, it is almost independent of temp., has high shelf stability, does not stick to a storage vessel, a developing device, etc., and causes little blocking even at high temp. |
