<p>An apparatus for removing support and guidance rollers (22) from an endless track vehicle (10) so that the rollers (22) may be repaired or replaced. The apparatus enables one man to remove and replace one or all of the support and guidance rollers (22) in approximately one-half the time previously required by several workmen. The apparatus includes a tool (30) having a base (31) on which a generally vertical threaded shaft (35) is mounted and such shaft may be selectively rotated to raise and lower a travelling block (36) and such block carries a generally horizontal threaded shaft (41) having a cradle (43) or other support means at one end which receives and supports an endless track support and guidance roller (22) when such roller is to be removed and replaced. </p> |
