The door stop has a shallow mushroom-shaped surface which fits along a circular bottom edge on the floor. The screwed base element bears a resilient buffer element. The buffer or door stop is designed for min. danger of stumbling. The base unit comprises a flat disc-shaped lower part with a hole for the fixing screw; and a cap, for attachment to this, incorporating a central cutout where the buffer element is held by intervening fixing and guiding pieces, and displaceable against spring force.
