<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the installing space and make the tank compact by incorporating in the tank main body a spiral passage which has an inside end opened into the tank body and an outside end communicated with an inflow pipe for a working oil. CONSTITUTION:The used working oil flows in via a return filter 5 which penetrates through a cover 4 of the closed tank main body 1, and the oil is led to the outside end 9 of the spiral passage 3. The passage 3 has only the inside end 10 opened into the interior of the tank main body 1. An oil reservoir 13 is communicated with the passage 3 near the inside end 10 through a notch 12 provided at a part of an inside wall 11 near the inside end 10. The oil filtered in the return filter 5 flows into the outside end 9 of the passage 3 via an outlet 7 and flows as a whirl flow in the passage 3 toward the inside end 10. Accordingly, a difference in centrifugal force is generated by the difference in apparent density between the oil and air bubbles so that air bubbles flow along the inside wall of the passage and flow into the reservoir 13 via the notch 12.</p> |
