The transparent cultivating vessel (1) is partially filled with water (2) and contains a young plant (3) which is held at its shoot axis (4) by an annular device (5). The cultivating vessel (1) has at least one hollow-cylindrical upper part. The device (5) with the plant (3) is displaceable along the inner wall of the cultivating vessel (1) with a clamp fit. The cultivating vessel (1) can be closed at the top by a cap (8) so that the young plant (3) is situated in a delimited and closed-off living space. To influence its growth, the young plant (3) is displaced by means of the device (5) into a position above the water surface (3), the plant (3) for example being situated entirely in the cultivating vessel (1) or the shoot of the plant (3) projecting out of the cultivating vessel (1). <IMAGE> |
