Activated carbon is regenerated by heating dilute hydrogen peroxide with polluted granulated or powdered wet activated carbon. Polluted activated carbon was washed with pure water, treated with hydrogen peroxide, washed with water repeatedly and dried to give regeneration of active carbon.
