The cladding is used on internal walls (2) or ceilings, taking the form of inter-articulating boards (1) or battens whereby it can be stored and transported in rolls. The battens are connected by elastic strips (3) or tendons running transversely along their rear faces, and may have reciprocal concave and convex interhousing edge profiles (4). A layer of supple insulating material (5) may be fixed continuously to the rear faces of the battens comprising a felt with a paper backing sheet (6). This sheet may constitute a vapour barrier and may be sited between the insulating layer and the battens. The cladding is hung by integral inverted L- shaped hooks engaging reciprocal wall-mounted fittings. |
