PURPOSE:Defects in a laver sheet are detected with a photoelectric element to compare the detected power with the specified standard and pick out rejected products, whereby the inspection operations are automatized. CONSTITUTION:The light source 7 is set beneath the laver sheets conveyed on the guide 4 and the photoelectric conversion element 8 is fitted thereon. The light signal that has transmitted through the laver sheet is amplified by amplifiers 111-1131 and input to the analog switch 12. The scanning speed of the photoelectric conversion element series is determined by the EP pulse from the EP generator 13 and the CP pulse from clock oscillator 14 operates the counter 15, whose outputs turn the analog switch 12 on in order and the outputs of the photoelectric conversion element 8 is sent to the signal converter 16. No good signals are issued through the comparator 24 where the output from the counter 20 and 21 is compared with that from the standard counter 23 from the and-circuits 17-19 whereas good signals from the Ex-OR circuit 22. When no good signals exceed a prescribed value, the defect part in the laver sheet is enlarged mechanically or by the use of air to facilitate the detection. |
