PURPOSE:To obtain the titled sheet which is inexpensive, light, excellent in workability, fine in weft density, split-resisting an account of increased compression resistance when used as a laminated tube by a method wherein a tightly stretched and parallelly arranged-carbon-fiber sheet and glass yarns are combined suitably. CONSTITUTION:Carbon fibers 1'... are drawn tightly in parallel in a vertical direction through an arrangement plate 10 and heated in a heating chamber 6 through a synthetic resin dipping tank 5. Glass yarns 2... are arranged in a lateral direction at fine intervals on a heated tightly stretched parallelly arranged carbon-fiber sheet 1. They are pressed to each other and welded into a unitary body to obtain a prepreg sheet A. The wefts act as compressin resistance and prevents splits from appearing on the tight-parallel-carbon-fiber sheet 1 which is weleded by a synthetic resin only. |
