<p>The pneumatic mechanism lifts and lowers the superstructure of a vehicle, particularly with air suspension, e.g. as used with interchangeable skips or semi-trailers. The inflation and deflation of air suspension bellows (11,13) is controlled by valves connected to a compressed-air source. A one-way selector valve (17) is connected between the control valve outlets (29,25), having "neutral", "lift", "lower " and "stop" positions (21,40-43), also an inlet connection (20) from the compressed-air source. The outlets (23,27) of the one-way valve to the bellows are each connected to the control union (22,26) of a relay valve (5,6), whose storage unions (3,4) are connected directly to the source,while their outlet unions (10,12) are connected to the bellows. The relay valve control unions are connected to their outlet unions via throttles (35,34).</p> |
