摘要 The aerodynamic body 1 may be a missile or a projectile fired at a target 2. By means of the output signal from a homing device 10 fixed at the body, which is a measure of the momentary value of the angle &nu; between an axis 4 of the body, preferably the axis of symmetry of the body 1, and the desired line 5 between the body 1 and the target 2, the body 1 is steered in a ballistic trajectory with known velocity variations VR over time towards a forward point 8. In the latter, the body 1 and the target 2 are expected to be situated simultaneously at the moment of hit. According to the invention, is subsequent to the firing determined: A first signal value corresponding to the momentary distance r(t) between the body 1 and the target 2; A second signal value corresponding to the time derivative &sigma;' of the angle &sigma; between an inertial reference direction and the desired line 5 between the body and the target; A third signal value &Delta;&chi;, providing an estimate of the angle between the actual direction of travel 3 of the body and the desired line 7 from the body 1 to the forward point 8. This estimate is obtained as the product of the first and the second signal values, divided by the velocity VR of the body. Finally, the third signal value is compared with a predetermined signal value corresponding to an actuatable change of the direction of velocity of the body with a certain angle &Delta;&chi;0. Each time the magnitude of the third signal value &Delta;&chi; exceeds the predetermined signal value, the change of direction of travel 3 of the body is effected.
