The incinerator for waste liquid and granular material, has a combustion chamber formed by a horizontal cylinder with two shells (1,3) and an air space (4). Outside is an insulation layer (7) and inside is a refractory lining (2). The bottom has an opening formed by two sloping sides forming a relatively narrow gap. The liquid or granular substance is forced through a tube (40) with injectors (37) which discharge through openings inside the top of the chamber. Ash is collected by a discharge screw (47) below the bottom opening. A duct at one end is used to supply combustion air, which is blown along a helical path around the outside. This enters the annular space (4) between the two shells and is extracted through the bottom outlet space.
