The lipstick holder consists of a casing (1) having two frames (4) hinged to the side and containing mirrors (5). At the top of the casing (1) a mini battery is located and is connected to a mini bulb (8) protruding from the side and protected by the mirrors when the lipstick is not in use. Connection of the battery to the bulb is by slight pressure on the edge of a simple capsule shaped switch which also contains the battery. To use, the lipstick is removed from the casing (1), the mirrors (5) are swung out from the body and the light switched on thus allowing make up operations to be carried out in the dark.
