PURPOSE:To improve stirring and mixing function for molten steel, by arranging at least one oxygen-jetting hole and other oxygen-jetting holes, made in a blowing lance tip which is used for an oxygen top-blown converter, in asymmetric positions with respect to the center axis. CONSTITUTION:Four oxygen-jetting holes 5 made in a lance tip for oxygen blowing of an oxygen top-blown converter is divided into two group with respect to a plane passing the center axis 6. The angles of inclination of respective jetting holes of each group 5a, 5b are different as shown by theta1, theta2 in figure, so that the holes 5a, 5b are asymmetric with respect to the center axis 6, hereby a steady flow of molten metal is caused in the furnace. The ratio theta1/theta2 is set in 0.3-1.8 region. Hence entering depth D1, D2 of oxygen from the holes 5a, 5b into the molten steel are changed, so that the molten steel is disrupted and the degree of stirring and mixing is increased, consequently slag making and dephosphorization is accelerated. |
