<p>Wave-shed loom has an air tube extending across the full width of the loom below the beat-up lamellae, with apertures from which issue multiple air-jets forming an air curtain in front of the weaving elements which prevents the ingress of dust and fly. The air tube is pref. divided into several sections, each being independently connected to a common compressed air supply, to maintain a uniform air curtain across the loom width. The device prevents the accumulation of foreign material, which could reduce the loom efficiency, on the poorly-accessible moving parts in the region of the fell.</p> |
