PURPOSE:To secure a quick detection for the fault of the optical system, by detecting the brightness of several positions within the viewfield of a microscope to convert it into the electric signal and at the same time displaying the bright/dark level in accordance with the electric signal. CONSTITUTION:The 1-dimensional image sensor 4 is provided along with the optical system monitor part 13. For the leucocyte classifying device, the blood sample is set to the microscope 2 via the loading mechanism 1 and then magnified. This magnified image is distributed to the naked eyes 3, the sensor 4 and the 2-dimensional image sensor 5 each. The sensor 4 passes through nearly the center of the magnified image to detect the degree of brightness over virtually entire width of the magnified image. And this detection output signal is sent to the microscope control circuit 6 via the leucocyte detection and focus control circuit 5. The microscope control circuit 6 given a control to the positions of the object lens as well as the 2-dimensionalposition of the mounting stage of the microscope in order to obtain a clear magnified image of the leucocyte at the center of the viewfield of the microscope 2. At the same time, the output signal of the circuit 5 is applied to the applied to the optical monitor optical monitor part 13 to control the sample holding circuit which holds the voltage according to the brightness of the magnified image of the microscope 2. Thus the light emission is secured for the necessary light emitting diode. |
