The concrete pump has two pistons in adjacent cylinders (1 and 2) mounted on a common valve block. The piston (2) is connected to the inlet duct (3) and blanked from the discharge by the valve disc (10). A baffle (8) on the disc blocks the inlet from the cylinder (1), which is open to the discharge (4) through a port (5) in the disc (10).
