PURPOSE:To prevent early wear of a rotary brush and filming phenomenon etc. of a photoreceptor from occuring by providing a roll-shaped interfering member which rotates in a manner as to move at approximately equal peripheral speed in the same direction as that of a rotary brush in the rotary brush contact part. CONSTITUTION:A rotary brush 6 is in sliding contact with the surface of a photoreceptor 1 and is rotated in the direction opposite from that of the rotating direction of the photoreceptor 1. At this time, air is flowed into a casing 3 through both ends 2a, 2b of its opening 2 and this influent air flow is shut off by the interference of a roll-shaped interfering member 8 and a fiber brush 5, then the lower side (a) of the roll-shaped interfering member 8 assumes a positive pressure and the opposite side (b) a negative pressure, thus the residual toner of the photoreceptor 1 is captured between the fiber brush 5 and at the time when the fiber brush 5 collides against a flicker bar 7, the toner is released into the space (d) and is sent to the air route (e) formed between a scavenging roll 9 and a cover 12. |
