PURPOSE:To prevent a program miss to fail to initialize a register at the time of preparing a program and to prevent an abnormal action by equipping the register not to be initialized at the time of resetting a microcomputer with a function to set values different for the resetting. CONSTITUTION:When a resetting instruction is executed by a supervisor 3 in an emulator ICE1, a resetting signal 7 is made active and inputted to a microcomputer 4 and a setting value control device 11. When a condition setting signal is in a prescribed condition, each time the resetting signal 7 is made active, the different values are set to the register not to be initialized by the resetting signal in the microcomputer 4. When the condition setting signal is not in the prescribed condition, the different values are prevented from being set to the register not to be initialized by the resetting signal in the microcomputer 4 when the resetting signal 7 is active. Thus, even when a designer forgets to set the function of the register, the abnormal action can be prevented. |
