<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a display with high resolution by constituting the display so that a signal from a handwriting detecting means can be directly outputted to a displaying monitor. CONSTITUTION:When a nib 8 of writing materials presses a front film 6A, upper and lower films 6A and 6B touch each other, and currents I1, I2, I3, and I4 are caused to flow through respective electrodes. For I1 and I2, and I3 and Id4, the currents are supplied from a constant current source 10, and moreover, when the resistance value of a conductive film 6 is uniform, and the distances from the respective vertical and horizontal electrodes of a point on which the nib 8 presses a board 3 are made into Y1, Y2, X3, and X4, expressions I and II can be established, the positions Y1, Y2, X3, and X4 can be obtained, and the position of a pen can be calculated. Once this value is obtained, it is sufficient to display and process the points of X and Y on the screen of the displaying monitor in the same way as the mouse input of a personal computer, etc.</p> |
