PURPOSE:To clamp positive and negative signals with one Zener diode, by inserting the Zener diode between two peaks of the diode bridge. CONSTITUTION:Diodes 6-9 are connected into a bridge, and Zener diode 10 is inserted between two peaks. One of two rest peaks is earthed, and an input is applied to terminal 5 of the other. The positive signal is clamped at thrd Zener voltage of diode 10 through diode 6, diode 10 and diode 7. The negative signal is clamped at the Zener voltage of diode 10 through diode 9, diode 10 and diode 8. |
