Bracing, in particular for trenches

The trench bracing enables walls to be secured against collapse and permits optimum utilisation of the available space in a technically simple manner. The bracing elements (3), guided and held together by rotary wedges (2), are driven along longitudinal girders (1) into the earth. These longitudinal girders are coupled via a bracket (5) to the cross girder (7) in such a way that they can be fixed in an individual position and can be stabilised by means of push-in nails (4) in holes. After a trench is filled, the bracing can be left and can be used as a retaining wall again the next time a trench is opened. <IMAGE>
