PURPOSE:To eliminate the bearing trouble in the initial operation by applying the pressure-sent water of the pump during operation among a group of pumps which are installed in parallel to the exhaust port of the pump in halt and always revolving the pump. CONSTITUTION:A rightmost pump 6 is used as a standby pump. The stop valve 17 between the branch pipe 15 connected to the discharge pipe 8 of a central pump 5 and the branch pipe 15' connected to the discharge pipe 9 of the rightmost pump 6 opens. When the pressure-sent water from the central pump 5 is introduced in the exhaust port of the rightmost pump 6 with the exhaust valve 12 closed, the runner of the right pump 6 slowly revolves by the pressure-sent water of the central pump 5. This can prevent trouble such as bearing damages in the initial operation which were conventionally seen. |
