摘要 PURPOSE:To enable provision of normally optimum steering characteristics according to the running state of a vehicle, by providing a correction means which detects suspension characteristics and corrects an auxiliary steering amount of a steering control means according too the detecting result. CONSTITUTION:A piston rod 9a of a cylinder 9 for auxiliary steering rear wheels is coupled to a knuckle for steering rear wheels through tie rods 8L and 8R, and operation of a cylinder 9 is controlled by means of an oil pressure flowing through a servo valve 15 controlled by a controller 31. Suspensions 2FL-2RR capable of switching and controlling suspension characteristics, are situated to wheels 1FL-1RR, respectively, and are controlled by a controller 21 for controlling a damping force. In this case, the controller 31 computes a control amount (auxiliary steering amount) for the servo valve 15 based on a steering angle, detects suspension characteristics of suspension 2FL-2RR, and corrects an auxiliary steering amount according to a characteristics detecting value.
