<p>The pen or pencil has a spring-loaded clip bearing against the wall of the pen etc. This clip is in the form of a double lever (7) and there is one arm forming the clip proper (5), bearing initially for its whole length against the outer wall of the pen (1) and the other forms an operating lever (4). The clip portion can be arranged to fit in a recess in the pen. This recess is of the same depth as its thickness, and there is an elastic component (3) coupled to the clip. It can form both the spring and the pivot point. The operating lever can be arranged to protrude beyond the surface of the pen.</p> |
