PURPOSE:To construct the inexpensive heat accumulator by using earth as a heat accumulative material, wherein a heat insulating chamber is constructed in the earth and within the heat insulating chamber is positioned a hot water tank around which a mixture of earth, carbon etc. is filled. CONSTITUTION:An underground chamber 9 is formed of compartment walls of a foamed high molecular material, at a center of the underground chamber 9 is arranged a heat accumulative tank 5 for storing a medium such as an antifreezing liquid within which a heat conducting hot water vessel 2 is positioned, and around the tank 5 are filled alternative layers of earths 7 and materials 8 not having bad heat conductive properties such as carbon and glass powder. A pipe 6 as a manhole and a lid 4 are arranged at a top of the heat accumulative tank 5, a water supply pipe 17 is connected to a lower part of the hot water vessel 2, a hot water supply pipe 19 is connected to an upper part thereof, upper and lower parts of the heat accumulative tank 5 are connected with a solar energy receiving plate through pipes 12, 16, and a circulating pump is arranged in the pipe 12. When the liquid temperature in the heat accumulative tank 5 is lower than the liquid temperature of the heat receiving plate, the circulating pump is actuated by a sensor circuit 15 and when the said conditions are reversed the circulating pump will be stopped. |
