The vacuum servo for a carburettor to limit the amount of fuel for normal running has a membrane (38) operating on a control shaft (18) and with the movement of the membrane controlled by an adjustable stop (74) on the fixed part of the servo housing. The adjustment comprises a threaded shaft (70) with a sealing O-ring (76). The threaded adjusted is operated from outside the servo and provides a simple adjustment. The shaft is threaded into a fitting (62) which is clipped into the housing with the sealing O-ring clipped to the other end. The centre of the membrane has a pressure pad (44) which locates over the end of the shaft.
