RESIN COMPOSITION FOR PROCESS RELEASE PAPER

PURPOSE:The titled composition, capable of giving a sheet of process release paper having improved heat resistance, gloss and releasability, and comprising a silicone- modified alkyd resin modified with a specific organopolyoxane and a polyisocyanate in a specific proportion. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising (A) 100pts.wt. a silicone-modified alkyd resin modified with an organopolysiloxane [15-50mol% of the organic groups bonded to the silicon atom are phenyl groups and one or more of the rest are hydroxyl-substituted organic groups of the formula (R is bivalent hydrocarbon group; a is 0 or 1)] and (B) 5-450pts.wt. a polyisocyanate compound, preferably an adduct of a polyhydric alcohol with a diisocyanate. Preferably, the amount of the organopolysiloxane is 1-40wt% based on the solid content of (A). USE:A synthetic leather of the enamel or matte type.
