PURPOSE:To suppres the electric wave noise generating from electric discharge by making at least either of rotor and fixed electrodes contain the specified contents of silicon. CONSTITUTION:High voltage from an ignition coil is guided in from the central terminal through a hightention cable, conducted to a rotor electrode 3 through a spring 8 and a carbon electrode 9 and after being distributed to a fixed electrode 6 through dielectric breakdown of the air in a discharging gap G between the tip of rotor electrode 3 and the fixed electrode 6 is sent to an ignition plug through a high-tention cable. At least the spark discharging part of one electrode of the rotor electrode 3 and the fixed electrode 6 is formed of silicon steel containing 2-30% of silicon. |
