PURPOSE:To improve picture quality by reducing the color error of a single-plate color camera on a color-difference sequence system, by taking an average between a color signal at the point of color-difference generation and color 1H before the generation point. CONSTITUTION:Color signals (a) and (b) output through color-difference circuit 15 and time-equalizing circuit 16 are sent to modulating circuit 17 to obtain a chrominance signal, which is supplied to variable gain amplifying circuit 18. Luminance signal (c) from LPF20, on the other hand, has a vertical correlation error detected by vertical error detector 21 and this is supplied as a control signal to amplifying circuit 18. Then, a color signal with the component of a color error generation part attenuated is sent to averaging circuit 25 composed of 1H delay circuit 26 and adder 27. Thus, an average between the color signal at the vertical error generation point and color 1H before the attenuation generation point is taken to correct the color signal, so that the vertical color error can be reduced. As a result, the picture quality can be improved. |
