<p>A combination pressure regulating and flow control valve includes a valve body and cover having an upstream port and a downstream port, and a fluid passage interconnecting the ports. An adjustable pressure regulating valve is operatively mounted in the fluid passage for regulating the pressure of fluid which enters from the upstream port. In parallel with the pressure regulating valve there is a spring biased check valve to allow free flow back to the upstream port if the pressure regulating valve is closed to such flow. An adjustable flow control valve is mounted in the fluid passage downstream of the regulating valve for providing a metering action on fluid flowing through the fluid passage. In parallel with the flow control valve means there is a spring biased check valve.</p> |
