PURPOSE:To obtain a single layer type photosensitive body superior in positive chargeability, high in sensitivity and small in residual potential by forming a photosensitive layer composed of a specified perylene derivative, a triphenylamine derivative, and a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The single layer type photosensitive layer comprises as an electric charge generating material, the perylene derivative represented by formula I, each of R<1>-R<4> being lower alkyl, as a charge transfer material, the triphenylamine derivative represented by formula II, each of R<5> being H, lower alkyl, or the like; each of R<6> and R<7> being a diphenylamino group optionally substituted by lower alkyl, or the like on the phenyl ring, and the binder resin, thus permitting the obtained single layer type photosensitive body to be superior in positive chargeability, high in sensitivity, and small in residual potential. |
