PURPOSE:To prepare cosmetic such as face powder having improved spreadability and hiding power in a wet state, by adding cosmetic powder and/or pigment treated with water- and oil-repellent composed of a fluorine-containing polymer to a cosmetic composition as major component of cosmetic powder and pigment. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic composition composed mainly of cosmetic powder and pigment, wherein pref. 30-100wt% of said cosmetic powder and pigment is cosmetic powder esp. inorganic powder such as talc, treated with a water- and oil-repellent composed of a polymer containing fluorine, especially a perfluoroalkyl group, and/or a pigment esp. an inorganic pigment such as yellow oxide. The cosmetic composition is useful as face powder, compact powder, cake foundation, etc. It has improved spreadability and hiding power in a wet state, and high resistance to become transparent, color shading, and makeup deterioration by water, sweating, etc. |
