PURPOSE:To make easy the change in stirring range of a sample contained in a vessel and to prevent the contamination of the sample, by inserting an intermediate pin fixed to the mechanism body into a long hole made in an operating board to which is attached a stirring rod, and by setting a rotatable driving means at one end of the operating board. CONSTITUTION:When a motor 1 mounted on one end of an operating board 5 is operated, an eccentric pin 4 attached to a circular plate 3 makes the operating board 5 move from side to side, simultaneously turns the board 5 around an intermediate pin 10 inserted into a long hole 8 in a range of a limited angle. Hence a stirring rod 6 attached to the other end of the operating board 5 turns while tracing an elliptical orbit thereby stirring the sample contained in a sample vessel 11. Selection of the distances from the intermediate pin 10 to the eccentric pin 4 and to the stirring rod 6 makes possible stirring motion of various kinds. This apparatus shows the effect that samples are scarcely contaminated with oil drops or dust which falls from the bearing, etc. of the motor 1. |
